The beach is great for sand and sea, you can spend the whole day there digging, building and swimming. The beaches of the South-East are some of the most incredible beaches in the country.
Many of Waterford's beaches are homes to wildlife and have trails where you can learn about different habitats and the environment, including rocks, animal and plant life. During the summer season, some of our beaches play host to fun events and festivals, with games, sand-sculpting and face-painting for the kids.
