The Copper Coast is the local name for the coastal area of County Waterford that extends from the growing village of Stradbally at its western end, to the alluring village of Fenor in the east.
The Copper Coast UNESCO Geopark
The Copper Coast Geopark runs along some twenty-five kilometres of beautiful wild coastline with tall majestic cliffs and beautiful, almost empty coves, populated by fulmar petrels, peregrine falcons, choughs and other birds. The area is well known for its masses of beautiful wildflowers, but it is the strange and unusual geology that is the main attraction.
