Saturday 17th April - Crude Food Trail

Go foraging in the wild and learn all about the incredible edibles which grow all around. Guided by Paul Green.   Meeting Point is Colligan Woods Car Park.   €5.00

Saturday 17th April - 'Bus Bia' Tours

10.00am - 1.30pm  The Staples: Visit the wonderful Crinnaghtaun orchard, see the 19th century scotch brick ovens still in daily use at Barron's Bakery and taste the great Knockanore and Knockalara Cheese on Lonergan's Farm.   €17.00 
10.00am - 1.30pm   The Abbey: Get a guided tour of the beautiful grounds and interpretative centre at Mount Melleray Abbey and hear about the industrious self-sufficient lifestyle of the monks in a bygone era.  €17.00 
10.00am - 1.30pm Down on the Farm: Visit Michael O'Donnell's farm and let him introduce you to spring lambs and his suckling beef herd - always popular with younger members of the family. Visit the Lismore Heritage Centre and enjoy a light lunch (included) at Lismore Farmers' Market.  €17.00 
Go on tour through wonderful West Waterford on one of the 'Bus Bia' light lunch included. Buses leave the Public Carpark near Shandon Roundabout (see map) at 10am, returning approximately 1.30pm. Choose from one of three routes above.
