92nd Dungarvan Agricultural Show

The Dungarvan Agricultural Show takes place in Cappagh, on the main Dungarvan/Cappoquin road, on Thursday July 31st. There will be Horse, Cattle and Sheep classes. There will be Horse and Pony Shows, Hunt Chase and Showchasing.

There will be three Showjumping rings, which this year features a Grand Prix class. The cattle section is renowned for the quality of the exhibits and the Maher Memorial Cup and Radley Spire Trophy will be well contested. The sheep section is well supported with the Boolattin Cup, the most coveted award.

The Home Industries section caters for young and old with baking competitions, flower arranging and art competitions. Beautiful displays of flowers and vegetables will be on display in the home industries tent.

There wil be trade stands, Lismore Farmers Market, and the show will also feature the Gardai Mounted Horse division who will parade throughout the show grounds.
