Suir Valley International Cycling RaceDate: 01 Aug 2008As part of a three day Suir Valley International Cycling Race in the Clonmel area, the final stage of the race will pass through parts of Ballymacarbry and Touraneena on Bank Holiday Monday. In excess of one hundred amateur and professional cyclists are expected to take part, with the race leaving Clonmel town and head towards Kilmacomma and Kilmanahan and on entering Ballymacarbry will cut down the Nire road and head up through Graignagower and Reanadampaun before turning down Clonegagaile and on entering the main Dungarvan/Clonmel road, the race will turn right and head back for Clonmel. When they enter Ballymacarbry for the second time, a hot spot sprint will take place outside the entrance to Pinewood Laboratories and after leaving Ballymacarbry the race will head for the finish at Clonmel. back to 2008 Press |
