Bunmahon is one of the many towns situated along the Copper Coast, with amazing cliff views and historical interests mixed well with modern activities.

Copper Coast Bunmahon is famed for its mines which mined copper from 1827 – 1877, a story that is now told through displays at the Mining Museum. Bunmahon is also the location of the Copper Coast Geopark, the outdoor geology museum.

Enjoy the picturesque setting of Bunmahon while on of its great Walks or you can get a feel for the ‘sunny south east’ on one of the Drives or Cycling Routes through the village.

Bunmahon Beach is a must for all visitors not only because of its beautiful golden sand but also because it is holder of the EU Blue Flag for water quality. Visitors to Bunmahon will small children will love the wonderful playground situated by the beach.

While in Bunmahon why not sample the Irish beer or stout in one of the local pubs or get a take away in the local restaurant.
