Lismore Castle Gardens are set in seven acres of spectacular ground within the infamous Lismore Castle with many flowers, shrubs and sculpture to be admired.

This upper and lower garden is divided in two with the upper garden housing the recently refurbished Art Gallery. The outer walls and terraces remain in the upper garden surrounded by a selection of specimen magnolias and camellias. Several pieces of contemporary sculpture are installed in the lower garden as well as an impressive yew walk.

The formerly abandoned west wing of the Castle was restored and opened as a contemporary art gallery with a different theme being explored annually. This modern and exciting space has held exhibitions from artists such as Richard Billingham, Eva Rothschild, Richard Long, Carlo Cignani and Kate Atkin and many more.
