Team Challenge LaunchDate: 17 Jul 2009Waterford Sports Partnership in conjunction with the Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford is delighted to launch the 2009 Sean Kelly Tour Team Challenge. A fit and eager group of staff from Waterford based company Genzyme were on hand to help launch the Challenge. Twenty nine members of staff at Genzyme have come together to enter a Team in this year’s Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford which takes place on Sunday 30th August 2009. The Team are hoping to raise much-needed funds in their quest to purchase Waterford’s only Jaundice Meter for the Paediatric Ward at Waterford Regional Hospital. The Sean Kelly Tour Team Challenge which is funded by the Irish Sports Council’s is a great way for family, friends and colleagues to cycle and train together in an organised safe and friendly setting and take part in one of the three routes in the 2009 Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford part of the An Post Cycling Series. For a fee of €5 per person; Teams that enter the Team Challenge can enjoy many benefits including: insurance & entry for organised twice weekly training spins run by local cycling clubs in the City & County, Sean Kelly Tour Water Bottle, a Team Photo on the day of the event and of course that great feeling of camaraderie and achievement after taking part in this great event..
